In this role, the Lead Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of procedures. This position will cover CT and MR services. As the Lead Imaging Tech, you will act as a liaison between management and staff, assist in coordination of daily patient flow, technologist assignment and protocol coordination. You'll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet &a; welcome patients/visitors/staff &a; assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, &a; ensure adherence to safety standards.
This is a full time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, Radiology Outpatient Center for Community Health, working Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Preferred Criteria:
- N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
Required Criteria:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
- ARRT Advanced Modality certification
- At least 1 year of CT experience
- At least 1 year of MR experience
